Day 73

Sea Day. These dipshit teens are unruly. This is the last full day with them and then they are gone. Gone! They get under everyone’s skin. Except their supposed parents. Where are the parents? Who knows?

I don’t know if they are going to get arrested (although I hope so) when we get to Miami. They also snuck into a life boat and broke one of the windows. They also climbed over some serious railing to break into the Garden Villa…a private area for the people staying in the villa suites. Apparently they through all the deck chairs in the pool, ate all the food that was out there and drank all the juice. Again, this is all rumor, but from good sources. After talking to some of them it appears this is not a first cruise for these kids. One of the 10-11 year olds asked if we were on the Dawn, and then if we were on the Spirit. He’s been on the cruises before. That means this nightmarish cloud of pre-pubescence haunts passengers at least once a year.

They were at our first improv show tonight. We told them multiple times to be quiet. The audience even got in on it. Apparently at the ventriloquist’s show security kicked them out and the audience gave a standing ovation. That’s how bad it’s been…the whole rest of the ship hates them, and more so…their supposed parents.

Late tonight we were in the Blue Lagoon and about five or six of them came running through. A passenger told the first few to stop running. Larrance told the stragglers “Hey. This isn’t a jogging place!” After they got through he said “I can’t believe I just said that.” He meant race track…and then commented that he just made an old-man comment that probably did nothing but make them laugh at the comment. At least we were all laughing.

In other news, Deanna and I took some private dance lessons today with Sveta. I don’t even remember what dance it was, but we’re getting better at dancing with each other.

My parents get here tomorrow and a new adventure begins.
