Weird

I don't know what's going on, but it has become increasingly difficult to sign in to my blog. But...I obviously figured it out.

What has happened...Deanna's step mom, Evie, sent us some tasty treats. I am not sure if Deanna was able to eat a peanut butter cookie before I devoured them all. They were delicious!

I talked with Jeff...my mom's cousin. Everyone back home has been making trips to visit with him and everyone far away has been calling. It was a nice talk...and odd at the same time.

Like I've said before, I had 7 grandparents growing up and I have one that is still living. I can remember the last time that I saw most of them. It was usually in a hospital. However, I didn't know it was the last time I would see/speak to them, and maybe even they didn't know. The odd thing about speaking with Jeff was the circumstance...we both knew it was the last time. There was something kind of refreshing about it. Knowledge is power I guess.

Apparently he is still hanging in there. He said he feels like there is something he is supposed to do before he goes, but he doesn't know what.

In other news, this xmas is very low key for Deanna and I. I think 2007 is the year that we get our butts in gear and attack whatever it is that we want to do. It's nice to know we can survive doing things that we enjoy doing...but there's a difference between surviving and living comfortable.

My video sketch group is cranking along. Our site is up... www.seven8nine.net. We have 3 videos up, 2 more being edited, and some scripts ready to be shot. Sam Super is a machine...he is the one editing all of this stuff and he rocks at it. If any of you saw our Ridin' Dirty video, he is the one who edited that. Sam is my hero...he should be on the NBC show "Heroes".

Sad

I just found out that my mom's cousin is going to be dead soon. She has 5 male cousins on her mom's side. Their parents have been going through some rough times medically speaking...and so have some of them. When my mom was a teen-ager she had a kidney transplant so that her cousin Jeff could get it. He's gone through life constantly dealing with medical woes, but always very cheerful. Of the five, he lived the farthest away. It was always great to see him at family events.

He recently had to have some toes amputated because of dialysis complications. He and his wife have made the decision to stop being medically supported by dialysis. The doctor has given him 5-7 days.

The first time I remember actually going to a funeral it was for a step-grandmother I hardly knew. She was married to my grandpa who lived in Bend...Grandma May. I barely knew her and really wasn't attached at all. I think I was between 10-12 when she died. I remember being fine (and I could be totally wrong) until going up and seeing the open casket. I then made my way outside to the front of the place that the funeral was being held and cried and cried. I felt like I barely knew her. I couldn't have missed her more. That feeling was imprinted. I hate death. I get that way still to this day. Someone dies, I'm done for...cry and cry.

I thought I was lucky growing up because I had 7 granparents (because of my dad's step-parents). When you're a kid you're like "Whoa! I just got FOUR $10 checks for my birthday! Thad only got TWO!"...

I have one living grandparent. My grandfather on my mother's side. I resemble him except he was buff when he was young. I've lost six grandparents.

I'm not sure what to think of this one. So many things cross my mind. At least he is choosing when to go and won't be suffering anymore. I certainly will miss him though. It hits even harder because he is my parents age. It's one thing to worry about grandparents, but now everyone is getting old.

I'm not one for afterlife tales, but I hope there is one for Jeff. I'll miss you Jeff, you've always been an inspiration in positivity for me whether you know it or not. I can't remember a single time I've seen you without a smile on our face, and that is how I'll always remember you.

Who knows, maybe 5-7 days will turn into 5-7-20 years...crazier things have happened.

Mom, Dad, sis, I love you guys.

The Short Version

Thanks to everyone hoping I'd live. Of 24 people who started, I managed to take out 5 of them before receiving a very sneaky letter bomb while on a job in Arizona. It wasn't expected at all and very well played.

The game had recently come down to 5 people...one who was very paranoid and good at the game (the one who got me in Arizona), one who was my ally (you got one alliance), and three who weren't really playing and just happened to be lined up in order of who needed to get who...borrrrrrring.

It is now down to my old ally and one of the do-nothings.

In other news, I had a nasty virus on my computer that I got the Friday after Thanksgiving and I am just today getting back to normal. I had to do a complete reinstall and my backup discs were faulty so I had to wait until I received my back up set from the manufacturer (they arrived today).

I'm almost back to full capacity. Luckily, because of my photography, I have an external hard drive and was able to get everything important over onto it.

More as it happens.

Murder Was the Case

Assasin. That is the name of the game. We have started an elaborate game of assasin, and I can't say much about it. There are about 24 people playing. Everyone has a nickname. Everyone has the real name of the person they're trying to kill. Everyone has the nickname of the person who is trying to kill them.

Starting right now...midnight, 11/20...it begins. And it goes until 12/11 (I think).

How can you be killed? If you are hit in the torso by a nerf bullet (see pic), squirt gun, or handheld spoon (throwing doesn't count). OR, if you open a letter (not email) that says "you're dead" it counts as a letter bomb.

You can have one no-kill alliance in which you share information and help each other get kills.

Everyone is pretty paranoid. Someone has already opened a letter bomb, but it was pre-11/20 so it didn't count. Someone told the person they were after that they were after them. Someone accidentally blurted out the name of who they're after while talking about a brilliant plan.

It is going to be a blast. I only hope I at least get one person before I'm hit.

I'll keep you updated on the mayhem. As soon as we kill someone or get killed we report to the person running it all and get a new person (or remain dead if we were killed).

Apparently Michigan=Bad

The big day. The Big Game. Like I mentioned, we were hired to promote DiGiorno pizza. How? Two of the four of us would be dressed as referrees, the other two as delivery drivers. Because "It's not Delivery, It's DiGiorno!"

While we were waiting to officially start at 11:00am, a crowd of people wearing red and white/grey was already out and about, most of them right across from our tent by the ESPN College Football Broadcast.

Note the sea of red. You know what stands out against this? People wearing normal clothes. You know what stands out even more? Blue and Yellow...The Michigan colors. The Michigan fans were few, and they were yelled at, booed, cursed at...but they stood proud. These teams are always big rivals, but this time OSU is ranked #1 and Michigan is ranked #2...that hasn't happened for 100 years.

Back to the gig. DiGiorno had a truck with 16 microwaves. They were cooking and handing out free pizza. While what? While also attempting to dunk the delivery drivers to win beads. It was about 45 degrees out...and the water was the same. Luckily, Ric and I had wet suits on underneath our outfits. Because of safety, we went from two tanks down to one. One tank was too close to the people getting pizzas and the crowd nearly missed them a few times. Here's Ric watching a ball miss.

I was lucky to catch this. This looks like Ric sitting, but you'll notice his seat is down and he's a couple inches lower. I snapped this right as the ball hit. We ended up doing the dunk tanks for just a little over an hour, then coming back and helping hand out beads. We had a lot of red and silver beads, and a little bit of blue and yellow. We handed out all of the red and silver by the end, and we had blue and gold left over. People were angry that we had the blue and gold in the first place and wanted us to burn them.

Before starting the dunk tanks we would have people play Rock, Paper, Scissors with us for beads. Every once and awhile we play "high stakes"...which meant if they won they got beads for all of their friends, but if they lost they had to wear blue and gold ones. They hated that. Usually if they lost they would take the beads, throw them on the ground and stomp on them. It was great. The award for best super fan goes to the 11 year old kid below.

What's Round on the Ends and High in the Middle?

Ohio, that's what. Today a few of us left for tropical Ohio on a 6:05am flight. We were destined to work for DiGiorno's promoting their pizza in Columbus at OSU...on the day of "The Big Game". They were playing against their major rival, Michigan State. Buckeye vs Wolverine, Red and Grey vs Blue and Yellow.

Apparently it's a big deal. SUCH a big deal that the only available flight was at 6:05am in the morning, because the rest were full. Even at that hour there was talk of the game, and even one guy yelled out "O-H!" to which some people replied "I-O!" It seemed to be a spelling contest of sorts. Lucky for me The Daily Show was recently in Ohio and the audience was chanting like that...so I understood that it was the college spirit chant war cry thing.

A huge SUV limo that can fit 14 people picked us up to take us to our hotel.

While there we went to the mall to visit with Ric's brother. Later we caught "Stranger than Fiction" in the theater. I liked that movie a good amount. It was enjoyable. Not SUPER AWESOME, but I would see it again in the theaters.

Video (and dog poop) Killed the Radio Star

Most of today was spent shooting video for a group I'm in called seven8nine. We have been working hard to get some videos made and a majority of today was spent filming our fourth vid.

And they'll keep coming too. Keep an eye out on www.seven8nine.net for changes in the next month. It's a really fun group of people to work with.

Today we were shooting a scene where three girls were learning about camping from a boy scout. Unfortunately, we also learned that we should look where we step and that dog poop makes one of us nearly throw up. I won't say who, but I WILL say it's not me, and I'll also say I was rolling the whole time so it will probably be on video. We might send it in to AFV though so we'll have to wait and see. It's hilarious.

Chim-Chimney

Today was a little chilly out. It is doing the typical fall thing leading into winter...where the temp gets nice, rains, and then drops 10-20 degrees. Repeat. Today was one of the cold days. It was supposed to snow early in the morning but never really did. How do I know? Because I had to be downtown at 6:30am. The picture above is of the group of Chimney Sweeps responsible for the grand window unveiling at a major name brand retail store that has had holiday window unveilings for years...but I don't want to name names.

It is a fun job. Last year the theme was Cinderella and eleven of us were dressed as soldiers (royal/nutcracker type). This year it's Mary Poppins, so we were Chimney Sweeps. Deanna was in charge of putting together the costumes and did great. I got to help a little...mostly in finding hats. If they fit my head, they'd fit anyone. Plus, we got to be cockney.

Ketchup

Things have been mellow, but good enough to do a quick catch-up.

I'm apparently the face of ComedySportz Chicago now. My face is on a 40ft tall banner, postcards, banner ads on the Blue Line eL, posters, and possibly other stuff.

Deanna got me a cool GPS odometer for running that I finally tested 2 nights ago. It has a virtual trainer...you set what distance you want to run and how fast you want to run it. Once you hit start it shows two little cartoon guys. One is you, one is your trainer. I set it for 5 miles running 9-minute miles. I ran for 4 miles and came in 40 ft behind the trainer...the exact height of the poster of me. I uploaded the data from the run to my computer. It gave me a graph of my speed and my heart rate. My heart rate started at 90 ish and was around 158 for the run. Next I will run the same path and compare speed and heart rate...it lets you do that!

I also took the money my parents gave me and bought an iPod Shuffle. This thing is tiny and holds 250 songs. It's perfect. Thanks, parents!

What else...I shot photos of an improv group today and had my first lamp blow out. I took it in to get repaired and hope it's just a bulb issue.

Oh...I saw Borat. This movie is hilarious and wrong at the same time. The things Sacha Baren Cohen gets away with as this character are hilarious.

More as I think of it...I'm a little tired.

Birthday Bash!

Today is my birthday. PS. Thanks to I think my aunt and uncle for the e-card...I'm pretty sure it is from you guys, but not totally sure.

Today started off like any other day...with a ComedySportz remote show. Deanna was out of town on a gig and came back before I got back. She got me an awesome present. It's a pedometer, but it's GPS. Regular pedometers are about 60% accurate. GPS is much more. It tracks your exact distance, your speed, and even has a thing to track your heart rate. All of this data is saved and can be uploaded to your computer. So if I run the same exact path three days in a row I can compare speed and heart rate. It's awesome. I haven't used it yet because it's cold out...but I will soon.

Deanna made my favorite dinner and then took me out with some friends to a Korean Karaoke place. I'm not even really sure what the place is called because the sign was in Korean...but it is one of those places that has separate rooms that you rent and sing karaoke in.

There were 11 of us (exceding the max capacity of 9). Joey, Rich, Martin, Tara, Sam, Dave, Jen, Gillian, Steph, Deanna, and myself.

One of the fun parts of the experience was that some of the songs had a weird background going on...like a travel video almost...it would inspire us to change lyrics sometimes as you may notice in one of the videos below.

My biggest challenge of the night seemed to be picking a song they had on file. You would look through the book, find your song, then enter the number of the song on a remote. You could queue upto 12 songs. It worked out for me that my song would get to the #1 slot and then say "Disc in use, pick another song" which meant pick another song for the #12 slot. "Ghostbusters" was my nemesis...as was "We Built This City". Neither were available.

Later in the evening I noticed that the books of songs were not orderly. I found another "Ghostbusters" under a different number, and another "We Built This City". Ghostbusters worked. We Built ended up being a song in Korean that I just made up words to.

It was a blast. We were there for about 2 hours and I would easily go back again. Below you'll find the singing styles of Tara and Martin. I recorded them on my small camera...they only record as AVI, which youtube has trouble syncing up...so the audio doesn't match the background too well. But they're fun. THANKS EVERYONE WHO CAME AND SENT WELL WISHES! I am truely blessed and surrounded by Awesomers...practicers of awesome.

Scary Corn!

Tradition! Tonight was the sometimes annual corn ma(i)ze outting. We had 21 people with us this time and there was fun to be had. When we initially planned the trip there was talk of going out early to take part in the daylight fun they had...such as picking apples, launching apples in a catapult, and picking pumpkins. What we didn't think of was that we were going on 10/29. All of the apples were gone, as were the pumpkins. Martin and his girlfriend were the only ones who showed up early to partake in the nothing that was available.

When we got there, there was a huge line. Luckily the last car of our people trickled in right as we reached the front. But we didn't reach the front before having the idiot twins (pictured below) decide that it was wrasslin' time.

Remember being a kid and breaking into impromptu wrestling out in public? Me either. So we got into the maze. We decided it would be best to split into groups of 4 people. Everyone agreed. Our group had about 10 people. America! I had a map and was bad ass at knowing where we were in the maze, so everyone followed me. The first half was just a maze, the second half was haunted.

In the haunted part we found some hilarity in the scares...such as:
-crossing paths with people from our group and shortly after hearing a chainsaw sound we found Gillian face down on the ground.
-a grim reaper on stilts came out of nowhere and got me and our group pretty good, but then he took a miscalculated step and stumbled into the corn thus earning him the name "Prat Fall Death".
-a short person with a mask tried to scare us and failed. This person walked backwards in front of me....just looking at me...and when I still didn't react he turned to scurry down the path...but he ran straight into the corn. Someone in our group called this person Robert and gave them a pep talk about scaring people.
-The scare crow. When I saw the scare crow I said out loud "Oh crap, I forgot about this one." I took my camera out. It is set to red-eye so it flashes multiple times. On the first flash, the scare crow was there and then pounced. Below is what I captured in the final flash.

...nothing but a hat. He got us all really good.

This is still the scare crow following our group around. It's not scary in a well lit photo. But in the dark when you're with people you know, only to find out that one person you think you know is actually still that scare crow? That's the stuff that scares Robyn, Deanna, and Mary.

In the end we all met in the front area where Mary got humped by a Gorilla.

Well done, America. Pie and pretzl bread sandwiches for everyone!

Trick or Treat Trot

Today was my first 5k. The Trick or Treat Trot. There were about 3000 people there either running in the 5 or 10k. AND an optional costume contest. I have a great and elaborate idea for a costume that will have to wait until next year...and by the looks of this years costumes, I'll totally win.

It was a chilly morning. Deanna took all of the pics except the next one, by the way.

3.1 miles was all I needed to do. I just ran 4.?? 3 days before...unfortunately, this time I didn't have my music, and I was racing against people. This meant that I started passing people like crazy in the beginning and then had to go slower in the second half. It was awesome to pass people...it sucked to get passed. I got passed by: an undead cheerleader, batman, superman, another batman, two ladies with enough breath to be chatting, an 11-year old boy, and a 9-year old girl with her mom. Ugh.

I'm hamming it up above...I wasn't that tired at the end. But I was tired.

I don't know if you can see it in the pic above...in the last 50 feet or so I sprinted and passed one last person. The clock says 29.11, but each person had a little microchip that they attached to their shoe to record their actual start and stop time (so, if you were in the back of the crowd and didn't cross the start line until 5 minutes into the race you wouldn't have that 5 minutes against you).

Here are my stats

239 512 RANCE RIZZUTTO M 34 32/64 28:42 9:14 CHICAGO

I was 239th out of about 930 people who were running the 5k (the rest of the 3000 people were registered as 10k runners or walkers of the 5 or 10k). I was 32nd out of 64 people in my age range. I came in at 28 minutes 42 seconds and had an average mile of 9 minutes 14 seconds. The guy in 238th place was my age and beat me by 1 second.

It was fun and I hope to increase my time. Below is a video Deanna took while I thought she was taking pictures.

Style Points

Tonight was JRB Bowling night...meaning, we went bowling. Not meaning, it's something we do every Monday. Chris found a place that is a bowling alley above an Ace Hardware. It's older and has paper scoring still.

We made the best of it. I brought a prize for best style that was won by Todd aka Wildcat aka Mildcat aka Future Past Wildcat.

I dressed for sports. I had a red T-shirt and a red #14 football jersey that I got at a thrift store. Add to that my black shorts, cubs hat, knee high ref-socks, and tear-away warm up pants...which are important.

In our second game I said the style points were awarded for finishing move and catch phrases. We all had nicknames at that point. I was Terd. Katie was "Coats" because she wore her coat the whole time. Her catch phrase as she would go up to bowl? "Okay, see you later guys." 'Cause she was always ready to leave with her coat on.

I was bowling with a 7 pound little kids ball. My fingers didn't fit, but I would palm it and give it some massive spin. In frame 3 I thought of an idea in my head for a finishing move that I would do if I got a strike or spare...tearing of my pants in one clean jerk. That frame, I got a spare. It went over pretty well...and it was a solid finishing move. I know, because it worked everytime. I got a spare or a strike in every frame except the 10th in that game with a grand total of 142...all with the 7 pound ball.

Unfortunately, I noticed that I also ripped the crotch out of the pants. Now they need mending. But it was worth it. I must have torn off my pants 8 or 9 times over the course of the night.

Listen, Kid...

After arriving home Wednesday night, Deanna and I were looking to hang out with pals. Luckily, a lot of them were in a show on Thursday night called "Listen, Kid..." written by Peter Gwinn (writer for the Colbert Report), directed by Rich Prouty and musical direction by Steph McCullough. This show was hilarious.

The basic summary is that it's a musical that teaches kids what they REALLY need to know about the world like "friends with benefits" never really works, and you shouldn't kill people who make you angry, and other stuff that I don't want to spoil.

Rich, Joey, Tara, Sam, Steph, Deanna and I went to the Pick Me Up afterwards to hang.

It's good to be back home in Chicago! Rarerooooooooooo!

This Place is For the Birds

The thing about Niagra Falls, CAN is that it's touristy. Meaning, they have a lot of those fliers for things to do. One that caught Deanna's eye was Bird Kingdom. Once she showed me the flier I was hooked. An Aviary with exotic birds. I love birds. Even more so I like brightly colored birds.

It was raining outside and was supposed to rain all day...remnants of that storm that gave Buffalo all of that snow. We walked the 1.1 miles to the Aviary anyway.

As you go in there is a very small room as far as aviaries go. I'd say just a little bigger than your standard living room. There were many little birds here flitting about. I thought, "ok, I was expecting more, but these are indeed birds." and started taking pictures. As we were taking pics one of the workers said they recommend seeing the full facility before taking too many pictures. Ah HA! There's more!

Next was the nocturnal room. No flash photography allowed. There were some bats, some owls, some lizards (they aren't birds), Snakes (also not birds) and a couple small alligators (no bird-like features here either).

From here we walked out into the main aviary...THIS part was more like it.

There were bigger, more exotic birds in this area, and more room for them to get around. In one corner there was a caged area that you could enter. You had to use anti-bacterial stuff on your hands, and then you could enter.

As an added bonus, you could pay $2 to buy a little cup of nectar that would attract the macaws in the room over to you.

Deanna and I both did this. The most dangerous part about it was that these birds were crapping nectar all the time.

It was great. After that we walked back through heavier rain to get back to the hotel. We were soaked, and I only had one pair of pants with me, the rest of my clothes was in the car which had been valet parked. So, before we headed down to the casino I spent about 30 minutes ironing my pants until they were dryish.

The Casino was ok. The smallest amount you could get from the ATM was $100. I went to my Let It Ride table and won on my first hand. I never really won big, but I won enough times to keep me above my original amount. I had been playing for awhile and decided to stop when I didn't have enough to bet for a full round ($30) + my initial $100. So, when I got to $125 I left. I put that $25 into a video poker game and lost that, but I walked away with my initial $100 so it's like I didn't spend anything!

For more bird pics, check out my photo blog (Daily Photo under the Links to the right).

Falls!

We ended up leaving Montreal around 11am and headed out for Niagra Falls...Canada side. 400+ miles for this leg. Our timing was perfect. We hit Toronto right in the middle of rush hour, but the route we took helped us avoid all but 10 miles of it.

Another cool thing about Canada, the signs are metric. So if you don't think about it, when you see the sign that says "Niagra Falls 120" you are pleasantly surprised when it takes less than 120 miles to get there.

Oh, I forgot something. I don't know much French. And Montreal is French speaking (but most of the people know English too). For some reason I couldn't get the phrase "je ma pel Robert(said French...like Colbert)" out of my head. And not just saying it, but saying it with the inflection that Alec Baldwin used in an SNL sketch years ago...my sister understands. So...I kept saying it...which was fun...until it dawned on my that it was the equivalent of someone on the street in Chicago repeating "my name is Robert...my name is Robert" over and over. I did it less...but it was hard to stop.

So...we stayed in the Hilton right across from a Casino (the building with the word CASINO on it). We were going to be spending two nights here so we didn't go tonight. We DID go walk down to the falls though. I didn't bring my good camera with, just the little one.

I plan to come back tomorrow night with my tripod and camera to get some cooler shots.

Canada...at least the Falls area...is very touristy. We went to the Falls on the US side last year on our way out. If you ever go to the falls, trust me...Canada rules. For those of you from Portland, here is a comparison: Canada Niagra Falls = Disneyland, US side=Oaks Park. For everyone else, google oaks park oregon...you'll get it.

A Li'l Taste

What is there to look forward to in this blog once I get access to time and my photos?

Pirate Treasure, Fires, and the Super Sexe!

Film at 11:00.

On the Road Again

We left Maine around 9:00am and had one goal, make the 300+ miles to Montreal. The only thing we were worried about was getting in and out of Canada with only our driver's licences. Getting in. No problem. I guess in 2007 they will start requiring passports though, so be ready for that.

The drive through Canada is awesome. Much more scenic. Gas feels cheaper because the price listed is $.82-$.94 (per liter though).

We made it to Montreal no problem. We did something this time around that saved us some cash...researching and hotwire.com-ing. The deals on hotels in Canada were great, and they were nice hotels. Here is the view from our room in the Delta...we had a little patio.

The unfortunate thing about our stay in Montreal was that we were tired from not sleeping well the night before, we were hungry, and we needed to leave the next morning. So, we didn't really get to check it out all that much. On our walk around to find a place to eat we DID find out that strip clubs are just a little less frequent than Starbucks. My favorite outdoor neon display? Super Sexe!

Last Day on the Island

Today was the last show, and our last day. Deanna and I decided to go into town early to shop. There were going to be huge blow out savings on everything! The island is seasonal for the most part so EVERYTHING MUST GO!

Well...apparently not. Cruise ships kept coming into port so some of the shops were holding out longer and we didn't get many awesome deals at all.

So, we went to eat.

My lady.

Backdraft

As we were getting closer to show time, we noticed a little smoke in the air. There is a Rite-Aid across the street and to the right a block from the theater. There are apartments above it and one of those apartments was on fire.

I didn't start taking pictures right away because there was only smoke. I saw a firefighter touching the windows to see if some were hot and then he went somewhere else. Then, the window shattered and out came the flames.

The story as I now know it is that the guy who's apartment was on fire is an epileptic. He got out of his apartment, then went back in to try to put it out and had a seizure. They got him out and he was taken to a Boston Hospital via lifeflight. How much of that is true, I don't know. The story was constantly changing.

This is about as bad as it got before they got the hoses up there. Deaths, Earthquakes, Fires...this season hasn't been bland.

Blog Hiatus

Tomorrow is our last full day here. We have two shows tonight and one tomorrow.

Rumor has it there are some awesome sales on the island, so Deanna and I are going to go in early tomorrow...this means we will have little time for packing and cleaning. We will be leaving early Sunday (hopefully) and drive 315 or so miles to Montreal. Then 400 the next day to Niagra Falls (Canada side) where we will stay two nights, then try to make the 500+ remaining miles back to Chicago.

I say all of this because I am about to pack up everything and don't know if I'll blog again until I get home.

So if you live in Chicago, we'll see you soon. If you don't, thanks for reading and I hope I can keep things exciting on here while back at home.

Booty!

Before Katie left she ordered a bowl. There was some cereal box, it was either Pirates of the Carribean cereal, or a cereal sponsored by the movie. It had an order form. And Katie did it. Today the above bowl arrived at the Maine house. There isn't much to give it perspective. It isn't a cereal sized bowl. It's much bigger, like the kind you'ld serve popcorn or chips from at a party.

Last Day Off: Holy Ground

Granted, I haven't had any Pepsi in a long time...at least 3 months, maybe more...I think the last time was in January. BUT, RoNo and I have this ongoing thing: I hate Coke, she hates Pepsi.

Well tonight we went to a Mexican Restaurant (no idea on the name) and out front was a Coke vending machine. As we walked in I actually thought to myself "I need to take a picture of that for RoNo when I leave."

It gets better...we get inside...Pepsi is their cola of choice...in can or bottle.

But what's this? A paradox? The only cups they had?...

The best of both worlds...a great cup that can only be filled with a great beverage.
