Ah, memories. Today we came to Antigua and did what we did last year…went to the Coast and used the internet!
This cruise has been sort of eye opening as far as seeing age effect people. One lady near us was in a wheelchair with someone I can only assume is her son. He was telling her he was going to leave her there while he went to get a card. That he would right back. That he would turn her around so she could see the direction he went. She replied “Yes, sir.”
I found that odd and wondered if she even knew who he was. Turns out we crossed paths again as she was walking into her room with her son via a walker. As she entered the doorway she said “I’ve never been in this room before.” To which he matter-of-factly replied “Yes you have. All of your clothes are in here.”
Kind of sad.
Jane had another great show tonight. She has been extra saucy lately.
