Back to back days in New York! On the way to breakfast I saw a couple ladies getting ready to leave the ship who said “You’re the guy from Second City!” and went on to say our show was the highlight of their cruise and other nice things. I guess we run into passengers on one-days after all.
The first day of this cruise felt a little more relaxed. Maybe because it isn’t families traveling on holidays, or maybe because there are ten days instead of seven. But the buffet wasn’t crowded to maximum capacity. Less arguments in the halls. Although we did have a nice overhear as we were eating lunch in La Cucina.
Mom to 10 year-old Daughter: Oh! That is enough dessert! You don’t have to take a dessert every time you walk by them!
Daughter, smiling, with a brownie and some cookies on a plate: I’ll just eat the brownie then.
M: I’m not going to clean it up when you puke.
