Ahh…St. Maarten. Last time we were here it was the best beach we had been too. So, we were really looking forward to coming back here. Our plan was to go to dawn bay for snorkeling or fun on the waves. But then a dude from Chicago had to go and become the President.
We woke up and watch inauguration coverage all day. I managed to do laundry and go to the gym. CNN was using something I learned about a few years ago…Photosynth. It seems like they’ve been working on this technology forever. When I first heard of it they said it would use Flickr photos…which is why I started using Flickr. Photosynth takes a series of photos and finds common reference points to combine them together to make a semi-3D environment. CNN had everyone take photos of Obama getting sworn in. Cool stuff.
Other than that we got together to play Settlers…two games. Deanna won both.
