1/27/09: Day 94: Sea Day

Kind of a busy blur this week. Since I last wrote we did a few fun things though. On Sunday in New York we got to see our good friend Joey who was there with The Improvised Shakespeare Company doing some shows. Really great to see him. Old timey readers may remember we stayed with Joey and his wife Heather before going on our first ship. That very room that we stayed in is now a nursery for their soon to be born child! It was great to get to see someone from Chicago…AND have that someone be a friend we know and love.

That same day was the day that Mike left and Ryan came on board. So, we have been doing a lot of rehearsing to get Ryan up to speed. He has been performing for awhile and was even on the ship that wrote some of our “ship themed blackouts” so our songs are the only major things to work on.
