First off…I’d like to thank Amanda for her blog. She was on the cast that was here before us and her blog was slightly on the pessimistic side. Probably because they had been to the ports so many times…whatever the case, we thought Naples would be awful. It looks awesome from the ship. I guess we’ll find out next week when we get off the ship.
Today was a lot of rehearsing and then our first show. We only had one show tonight because there are only 1000 English speaking people on board and the theater seats right around that many. Better to seat them all than to have to 50% filled shows…or worse, some uneven 70% 30% split.
As far as first shows go, it went great! We got some great laughs. The show is solid. The next two days we’ll actually have time to get off at the ports, so tomorrow is Rome!
