Today I went to the track to run. I normally start jogging half of the way there, but I wanted to check my actual distance. I decided I would run 4 miles. I made a new running playlist on my ipod and knew B.O.B. by Outkast should pop in around 40 minutes.
It showed up and ended halfway through mile 3. Then my ipod stopped...which it has been doing lately. I kept going and it took almost an entire lap to restart. I stopped at 3 miles.
I left my watch and water on the side of the track. I knew if I wore my watch I would check it too frequently. I stopped at 3 miles...12 laps...and checked my watch...28 minutes and something seconds. I could have done more.
Nice to know I can run 3 miles though.
